Phobophobia is my first university project, where I served as Lead Programmer and Level Designer.
I collaborated with a team of five other students to bring our vision to life. The game is about overcoming fears and solving puzzles in a story-driven environment. I worked on this project from December 2023 to February 2024, dedicating about 7-8 weeks to its development. My key contributions included programming player movement, developing the camera system, coding the lighting, designing room mechanics, creating puzzles, implementing farming elements, and setting up warps. During this project, I learned coding principles, GML, and game design.
